3-114.

(a) In the following counties, the members of the county board shall be elected:

(1)     Allegany;

(2)     Calvert;

(3)     Carroll;

(4)     Charles;

(5)     DORCHESTER;

(6)      Frederick;
[(6)] (7) Garrett;
[(7)] (8) Howard;
[(8)] (9) Kent;

[(9)] (10) Prince George's;

[(10)] (11) Montgomery;

[(11)] (12) St. Mary's;

[(12)] (13) Somerset;

[(13)] (14) Washington; and

[(14)] (15) Worcester.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 3-5A-01
through 3-5A-05, respectively, and the subtitle "Subtitle 5A. Frederick County" of
Article — Education of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be
Section(s) 3-5B-01 through 3-5B-05, respectively, and the subtitle "Subtitle 5B.
Frederick County".

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

Article - Education

SUBTITLE 5A. DORCHESTER COUNTY.

3-5A-01.

(A) THE DORCHESTER COUNTY BOARD CONSISTS OF:

(1) FIVE VOTING MEMBERS, ONE MEMBER ELECTED FROM EACH OF THE
FIVE COUNCILMANIC DISTRICTS
ELECTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUBSECTION (B)
OF THIS SECTION;
AND
