AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County Board of Education - Appointment of Members -

Legislative Districts

FOR the purpose of altering the legislative districts from which Anne Arundel County
Board of Education members are appointed; authorizing certain members of the
Board to complete their terms; providing for the effective date of certain
provisions of this Act; providing for the termination of certain provisions of this
Act; and generally relating to the appointment of members of the Anne Arundel
County Board of Education.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

3-110.

(a) The Anne Arundel County Board consists of 8 members who shall be
appointed as follows:

(1)     3 from the county at large;

(2)     1 each from Legislative Districts 30, 31, [32,] and 33[, as each
district existed on January 1, 2002];
