CA00.06 Administrative Office of the Courts
General Fund Appropriation, provided that
this appropriation shall be increased by
$150,000 for the purpose of providing a
grant to Baltimore City to fund one-half of
the administrative and compensation costs
associated with the Criminal Justice
Coordinating Council for Baltimore City,
Further provided that no State funds may
be expended for the purpose of providing a
grant to Baltimore City for the cost
associated with the Criminal Justice
Coordinating Council for Baltimore City
until Baltimore City submits a letter to the
budget committees that expresses the City's
commitment to provide funds in the
amount necessary to match the State grant
appropriation.
Further provided that the Criminal Justice
Coordinating Council for Baltimore City
Project Coordinator shall submit a report
to the budget committees by October 1,
2000. and annually thereafter, on the
activities of the Council. The reports shall
include an analysis of the civil and
criminal case processing in the Eighth
Circuit Court with recommendations for
improvements where appropriate.
Further provided that the Administrative
Office of the Courts shall submit a report
