JUDICIARY
It is the intent of the General Assembly that
the Judiciary, the Department of Human
Resources (DHR) and the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH)
collaborate to improve the implementation
of the pilot program established by
Chapter 367. Acts of 1997. to secure a
proper home environment for
drug-addicted babies. To foster
improvement:
(1) Workshops shall be conducted for
judges in the jurisdictions with pilot
programs regarding both Chapter 367.
Acts of 1997. and the General
Assembly's finding that older children
are more difficult to place in an
adoptive home:
