(iii) an economic impact review;
(iv) a financing plan; and
(v) a reuse or redevelopment plan for the existing Hagerstown
stadium; and
(2) The estimated project costs, economic impact, financing plan, and
reuse or redevelopment plan for the existing Hagerstown stadium have been:
(i) approved by a majority vote of the combined membership of the
commissioners of Washington County and the Hagerstown City Council, sitting
jointly; and
(ii) submitted for review and comment to the Washington County
Senate and House Delegations of the General Assembly.
(b) As part of its review of the proposed new stadium, the Maryland Stadium
Authority shall assess the viability and costs associated with constructing a
multi-use stadium that, in addition to serving as the home field to a minor league
baseball team, would also be used by the community for other events such as
nonprofessional baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and track and field.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2000.

AN ACT concerning
Dorchester County - Stanley Institute: Rock School House Restoration Loan
of 1998
FOR the purpose of amending Chapter 203 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1998, the Dorchester County - Stanley Institute: Rock School House Restoration
Loan of 1998, to extend the date by which the grantees must provide and expend
a matching fund to June 1, 2002.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 203 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1998
