SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Real Property
3-108.
(m) In Calvert County, the Clerk of Court may not accept and record a plat that
CREATES A NEW LOT OR THAT combines two or more subdivision lots to create one or
more new lots unless the County Treasurer has certified on the plat that all taxes,
assessments, and charges against the existing lots have been paid.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000.

(House Bill 874)
AN ACT concerning
Caroline County - Alcoholic Beverages Licensees - Fingerprinting and
Criminal Records Check
FOR the purpose of requiring in Caroline County the Board of License Commissioners
to obtain from a certain agency certain criminal records of applicants when the
Board considers applications for new licenses and the transfer of licenses;
requiring an applicant to submit fingerprints; requiring the Board to keep
criminal records in a certain way; requiring the Board to charge a certain fee;
authorizing the Board to require current licensees and applicants for license
renewal to meet the requirements of this Act; and generally relating to the
Board of License Commissioners of Caroline County.
