Ch. 113 2000 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(T) EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (F) OF THIS SECTION, ANY PERSON
WHO IS CONVICTED OF A VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISIONS OF § 16-807(A) OF THIS
ARTICLE ("COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIREMENTS") OR § 16-815(E) OF THIS
ARTICLE ("ADDITIONAL ENDORSEMENTS") IS SUBJECT TO: (1) FOR A FIRST OFFENSE, A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $500 OR
IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 2 MONTHS OR BOTH; (2) FOR A SECOND OFFENSE, A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $1,000 OR
IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 6 MONTHS OR BOTH; AND (3) FOR A THIRD OR SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE, A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN
$2,000 OR IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 1 YEAR OR BOTH. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000. Approved April 25, 2000.
CHAPTER 113
(House Bill 222) AN ACT concerning State Personnel - Child Support Enforcement Administration - Transfer of Personnel Ho. Co. 6-00 FOR the purpose of transferring the Paternity and Support Division of the Office of
the State's Attorney for Howard County to the Child Support Enforcement
Administration of the Department of Human Resources; providing that certain
employees shall be transferred in accordance with certain provisions of law that
provide for inclusion in the State Personnel Management System, seniority,
compensation, annual leave accrual, transfer of certain pension contributions,
and other personnel matters for employees transferring to the Child Support
Enforcement Administration; clarifying those provisions relating to seniority
and compensation as they would apply under this Act; requiring Howard County
to pay certain personnel certain moneys as of a certain date; requiring the
creation of certain Position Identification Numbers for certain transferred
employees; and generally relating to the transfer of certain personnel to the
Department of Human Resources. BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
