(ii) The board of medical examiners of THIS STATE OR ANY
[another] OTHER state that was issued before January 1, 1985;
(iii) The National Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians
and Surgeons, if the certificate is issued after January 1, 1971; or
(iv) The Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada.
[(b) The Board may grant a waiver under this section only if:
(1) The applicant pays the application fee required by the Board under §
14-309 of this subtitle; and
(2) The applicant provides adequate evidence that the applicant meets
the qualifications otherwise required by this title.]
(C) THE BOARD MAY ADOPT ANY REGULATIONS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000.

(House Bill 181)
AN ACT concerning
Crimes - Controlled Dangerous Substances - Schedules
FOR the purpose of altering the list of Schedule III controlled dangerous substances
to include Dronabinol (synthetic) in sesame oil and encapsulated in a soft
gelatin capsule in a U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved product, and
Ketamine, its salts, isomers, and salts of isomers; and generally relating to
controlled dangerous substances schedules.
