PARRIS N. GLENDENING, Governor
[(2)] (II) owns or controls and dedicates at least 1 million gallons of
storage capacity in the State to gasoline, other than aviation gasoline, and to special
fuel; and [(3)] (III) keeps in the State an inventory of at least 500,000 gallons of
that gasoline and special fuel; OR (2) AN ENTITY THAT IS WHOLLY OWNED BY ONE OR MORE ENTITIES
THAT WOULD OTHERWISE QUALIFY AS A CLASS "A" LICENSEE. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2000. Approved April 25, 2000.
CHAPTER 106
(House Bill 154) AN ACT concerning Assisted Suicide - Definition of "Licensed Health Care Professional" FOR the purpose of altering the definition of "licensed health care professional" to
include emergency medical services providers in order to make certain
provisions that exclude a licensed health care professional from criminal
liability for performing certain activities applicable to emergency medical
services providers; providing for the application of this Act; making this Act an
emergency measure; and generally relating to emergency medical services
providers. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 416 Annotated Code of Maryland (1996 Replacement Volume and 1999 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments 416. (a) (1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated. (2) "Licensed health care professional" means a duly licensed physician,
