AN EMERGENCY ACT to:
(1) require the Director of Finance to establish and administer a Working
Families Income Supplement;
(2) define who is eligible to receive the Supplement and the amount to be paid;
(3) allow the Director to arrange with the Comptroller of the Treasury to pay
the Supplement to certain recipients; and
(4) generally authorize a County income supplement for certain low-income
residents.

AN ACT to:
(1) combine the Commission on the Humanities and the Montgomery County
Arts Council into an Arts and Humanities Council;
(2) repeal law that is obsolete because of the combination;
(3) require certain officers and employees of the organization to comply with
certain ethics laws;
(4) require the organization to provide copies of its governing documents and
notice before amending those documents;
(5) require regular financial reports to the County;
(6) clarify that the organization is a public body subject to the State open
meetings law;
(7) make certain stylistic and technical amendments; and
