COUNTY LOCAL LAWS
VI, The Final Subdivision Plan, all of the Harford County Subdivision Regulations; to
provide a floodplain management program as required by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency; to provide for the ability of the land to store flood waters. [Effective Date March 6, 2000]
Bill No. 99-62 AN ACT to repeal Subsection B of Section 105-1, Scope; applicability; to repeal and
reenact, with amendments, Section 105-3, Adoption of standards; to add Subsection C
to Section 105-6, Permit required; to repeal and reenact, with amendments, the
definition of "limited electrician" of Section 105-10, Definitions, all of Article I,
General Provisions; to repeal and reenact, with amendments, Section 105-19,
Applicability of Article; to add Subsection C to Section 105-31, Display of licenses;
identification cards; and to repeal and reenact, with amendments, Subsections A and
B of Section 105-34, Revocations or suspension of license, all of Article III, Licenses,
all of Chapter 105, Electricity, of the Harford County Code, as amended; to provide
that Harford County shall adopt as its standard for electrical installation regulations
the 1999 National Electrical Code with certain amendments thereto; to further
provide penalties for the violation of the electrical installation standards; and
generally relating to electrical installations in Harford County, Maryland. [Effective Date March 20, 2000]
Bill No. 99-63 AN ACT to repeal and to re-enact, with amendments, Subsection A(2), heading
Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Management Program, of Section 169-1, heading,
Adoption; Legal Status, of Chapter 169, heading, Master Plan, of the Harford County
Code, as amended; to approve revisions to the attached map due to a mistake that
occurred in the 1988 designation; to incorporate map changes to the Chesapeake Bay
Critical Area Management Program that resulted from the approval of a certain
growth allocation; and generally relating to the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area
Management Program. [Effective Date March 20, 2000] HOWARD COUNTY
Bill No. 7-1999 AN ACT establishing a process for the purchase by Howard County of an agricultural
land preservation easement if the source of all or a portion of the funds for the
purchase is a state or federal grant; providing for the method of establishing the
price for an easement purchased under certain circumstances; establishing a
process for the review and purchase of an easement under this Act; and
generally relating to the purchase by Howard County of an agricultural land
