WILLARDS
evidences of indebtedness of The Town of Willards and for securing any tender option
granted to the holders thereof; authorizing the imprinting in facsimile of the official
signatures and seals affixed to any of such bonds, notes or other evidences of
indebtedness of The Town of Willards; providing that bonds, notes and other
evidences of indebtedness issued and sold by The Town of Willards under Section 612
of the Charter shall be obligations of The Town of Willards to the prompt payment of
which its full faith and credit and unlimited taxing power shall be pledged; providing
that all bonds, notes or other evidences of indebtedness validly issued by The Town of
Willards previous to the effective date of the Charter amendment adopted by this
Resolution, and all ordinances and resolutions passed concerning them, are declared
to be valid, legal and binding and of full force and effect as if fully set forth in the
Charter; generally relating to the issuance and terms of such bonds, notes or other
evidences of indebtedness of The Town of Willards; and providing the procedures to be
followed for the effectiveness of the Charter amendment adopted by this Resolution. [Section 612 of the Charter of the Town of Willards, Wicomico County, as found
in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 1999 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments. Effective Date August 31, 1999]

PROPOSING THE ANNEXATION TO THE TOWN OF WILLARDS OF A CERTAIN
AREA OF LAND SITUATED CONTIGUOUS TO AND BINDING UPON THE
SOUTHEASTERLY CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF WILLARDS,
POPULARLY KNOWN AS THE "OCEAN GATEWAY - EAST ANNEXATION",
BOUNDED ON THE NORTHWEST AND WEST BY THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE TOWN OF WILLARDS; BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY U.S. ROUTE 50,
BOUNDED ON THE EAST BY THE LANDS NOW OR FORMERLY OWNED BY J.
WILLIAM BRITTINGHAM AND THE LANDS NOW OR FORMERLY OWNED BY
CARMEL L. COLLINS; BOUNDED ON THE SOUTH BY OTHER PROPERTIES OF
LULA B. RICHARDSON, E. DEAN W. RICHARDSON. TRUSTEE, AND DON E.
