Resolution No. 2000-02
A RESOLUTION concerning amendments to Section 6-64 of the Charter of The Town
of Hampstead,
FOR the purposes of making technical corrections to Charter Amendment Resolution
No. 1999-04 adopted on July 16, 1999 and effective on September 4, 1999 and
amending Section 6-64 of the Charter of The Town of Hampstead to provide for
alternate provisions to borrow money pursuant to Section 31 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1998 Replacement Volume and 1998 Supplement) in
lieu of the provisions prescribed by Section 32 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1998 Replacement Volume and 1998 Supplement).
[Section 6-64 of the Charter of the Town of Hampstead, Carroll County, as found
in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 1999 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Resolution No. 2000-05
A RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Hampstead adopted
pursuant to the authority of Sections 3 and 4 entitled "Home Rule", of Article XI-E
entitled "Municipal Corporations" of the Constitution of Maryland and of Section 11 et
seq. under subtitle "Charter Amendments" of Article 23A entitled
"Corporations-Municipal" of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1998 Replacement
Volume), to repeal the Charter of the Town of Hampstead, Maryland, 1983, and to
enact a revised Charter for the Town of Hampstead, Maryland, as set forth herein.
[Sections 6-1 through 6-106 of the Charter of the Town of Hampstead, Carroll
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 1999 Supplement), repealed, and Sections
C1-1 through C13-6 of the Charter of the Town of Hampstead, Carroll County, as
found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters
(1990 Replacement Edition and 1999 Supplement), added.
