successful program of purchase of development rights or financial enhancements
related to purchase of development rights during the period of certification. (h) The [Office] DEPARTMENT and the Foundation shall jointly adopt
regulations for administration of the certification program. (i) The [Office] DEPARTMENT and the Foundation shall report on the
certification program on or before January 15 of each year to the Governor, the budget
committees and the House Committees on Ways and Means and Environmental
Matters of the General Assembly, and the Department of Legislative Services. 5-501. The [Office] DEPARTMENT shall establish a central depository for all general,
area, and functional plans related to this title, and all amendments or revisions to
these plans, that are prepared by: (1) any unit of the State government, of a regional government, or of a
local government; or (2) any interstate agency. 5-502. Each unit of the State government, of a regional government, or of a local
government, and each interstate agency, shall submit to the [Office] DEPARTMENT
the plans required by regulations adopted by the [Director] SECRETARY. 5-503. (a) The [Office] DEPARTMENT shall establish statewide classification
standards for geographically referencing all basic planning information collected by
any unit of the State government. (b) The classification standards may be used by any unit of the State or of a
local government. 5-504. (a) The [Office] DEPARTMENT shall be a repository and clearinghouse for
information about real property available for public use. (b) The [Office] DEPARTMENT shall correlate information concerning real
property owned by the State or any political subdivision of the State. (c) (1) The [Office] DEPARTMENT shall maintain a list of real property
owned by the State or any political subdivision of the State. (2) The list shall include pertinent details concerning size, facilities, and value. (3) A copy of the list and any related information shall be provided to any
State agency and the General Assembly upon request.
