This bill requires the Insurance Commissioner to adopt regulations defining a "clean
claim" as it relates to information submitted on a uniform claims form by a health
care provider to a carrier.
House Bill 762, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May
11, 2000, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign
Senate Bill 800.
Sincerely,
Parris N. Glendening
Governor
