Building Code including subsequent printings of the most recent edition;
(2) Develop a voluntary forum that may be used, at the request of a local
jurisdiction, to resolve conflicts involving the Maryland Building Performance
Standards; and
(3) Adopt regulations to carry out the purposes of this subtitle.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2000.

AN ACT concerning
Family Day Care Providers - Grant Funds - Repeal of Sunset Provision
FOR the purpose of repealing the termination of certain provisions of law relating to
the Family Day Care Provider Direct Grant Fund.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 168 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1994, as amended by
Chapter 328 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1997
Section 3
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Chapter 168 of the Acts of 1994, as amended by Chapter 328 of the Acts of
1997
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994. [It shall remain in effect for a period of 6 years and, at the end of June
30, 2000, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force or effect]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 2000.
