Article - Health - General
18-205.
(a) (1) The director of a medical laboratory shall submit a report to the
health officer for the .county where the laboratory is located within 48 hours after an
examination of a specimen from a human body shows evidence of any of the following:
(i) Gonorrhea.
(ii) Viral hepatitis type A.
(iii) Viral hepatitis type B.
(iv) VIRAL HEPATITIS TYPE C.
(V) Haemophilus meningitis,
[(v)] (VI) Meningococcal meningitis,
[(vi)] (VII) Streptococcus meningitis type A.
[(vii)] (VIII) Streptococcus meningitis type B.
[(viii)] (IX) Viral meningitis.
[(ix)] (X) Meningococcemia.
[(x)] (XI) Typhoid or nontyphoid salmonellosis.
[(xi)] (XII) Syphilis.
[(xii)] (XIII) Tuberculosis.
[(xiii)] (XIV) Human immunodeficiency virus infection.
[(xiv)] (XV) CD 4+ count, if less than 200/MM3.
[(xv)] (XVI) Chlamydia infection.
[(xvi)] (XVII) Crypto sporidosis.
[(xvii)] (XVIII)E. coli 0157: H7 infection.
[(xviii)] (XIX) Lyme disease.
[(xix)] (XX) Pertussis.
[(xx)] (XXI) Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
[(xxi)] (XXII) Shigellosis.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000 July 1, 2001.
