BOARD OF TRUSTEES INCLUDING DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE DISPOSITION OF
ASSETS OR PROPERTY OF THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
(2) THE RESOLUTION MAY:
(I) AUTHORIZE THE CHANCELLOR TO DELEGATE THE AUTHORITY
GIVEN TO THE CHANCELLOR UNDER PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION TO
DESIGNEES THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES CONSIDERS APPROPRIATE; AND
(II) LIMIT THE TYPE OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS THAT THE
CHANCELLOR MAY DELEGATE TO A DESIGNEE FOR SIGNATURE.
(i) Notwithstanding the provisions of § 16-103(m) of this subtitle, the Board
of Trustees shall be styled "the Board of Trustees of the Community College of
Baltimore County".
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2000.

AN ACT concerning
Procurement - Action by Supplier on Payment Security
FOR the purpose of prohibiting an executory contract between a supplier and a
contractor or subcontractor that is related to a construction contract from
waiving or requiring a supplier to waive the right to sue on certain payment
security; providing that an executory contract between a supplier and a
contractor or subcontractor that conditions payment to a supplier on certain
other payment may not contain a contract provision abrogating or waiving the
right of a supplier to sue on certain payment security; providing that a provision
of a contract made in violation of this Act is void as against the public policy of
the State; and generally relating to actions on payment security.
