Ch. 638
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That on July 1, 2000, the
terms of office of the incumbent members of the Board of Trustees of Chesapeake
College who have served the longest amount of time from each county that supports
the college shall terminate.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That on July 1, 2002, the
terms of office of the incumbent members of the Board of Trustees of Chesapeake
College who had served the shortest amount of time as of July 1, 2000, from each
county that supports the college, or the members' replacement, shall terminate
the
term of office for an incumbent member of the Board of Trustees of Chesapeake
College representing Dorchester County that is due to expire in 2001 shall expire on
July 1, 2002. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the term of office for an
incumbent member of the Board of Trustees of Chesapeake College representing
Dorchester County that is due to expire in 2003 shall expire on July 1, 2004. SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2000. Approved May 18, 2000.
CHAPTER 638
(House Bill 790) AN ACT concerning Landlord and Tenant - Eviction - Extreme Weather Conditions FOR the purpose of requiring that a warrant of restitution of residential property that
is stayed by an administrative judge because of extreme weather conditions be
executed within a certain number of days after the extreme weather conditions
cease; and generally relating to the execution of a warrant of restitution of
residential property that was stayed because of extreme weather conditions. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
