(3) REVIEW AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ON LEGISLATION
AFFECTING THE MARYLAND AGRICULTURAL LAND PRESERVATION FOUNDATION
CONSIDERED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN THE 2000 SESSION, INCLUDING
SENATE BILL 255/HOUSE BILL 186, SENATE BILL 393/HOUSE BILL 615, SENATE BILL
443. AND HOUSE BILL 162; AND
(3) (4) MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO IMPROVE THE PROGRAM,
PRACTICES, AND FINANCIAL STANDING OF THE MARYLAND AGRICULTURAL LAND
PRESERVATION FOUNDATION.
(G) (H) THE TASK FORCE SHALL SUBMIT AN INTERIM REPORT OF ITS
FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE GOVERNOR AND, SUBJECT TO § 2-1246
OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, ON OR BEFORE
DECEMBER 1, 2000, AND SUBMIT A FINAL REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR AND THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON OR BEFORE JULY 31, 2001.
(H) (I) THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE SHALL COORDINATE WITH
OTHER STATE AGENCIES TO PROVIDE STAFFING FOR THE TASK FORCE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2000. It shall remain effective for a period of 1 year and 1 month and, at the
end of July 31, 2001, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this
Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

(House Bill 759)
AN ACT concerning
Department of Aging - Senior Citizens Activities Center Operating Fund
FOR the purpose of creating a Senior Citizens Activities Center Operating Fund;
providing for the administration of the Fund; providing for distributions from
the Fund to counties for senior citizens activities centers; defining certain terms;
requiring the Governor to include a certain amount in the State budget of
certain fiscal years; and generally relating to the Senior Citizens Activities
Center Operating Fund.
BY adding to
Article 70B - Department of Aging
Section 33 through 35, inclusive, to be under the new subtitle "Senior Citizens
Activities Center Operating Fund"
