ON OR BEFORE JULY 1 OF EACH YEAR, THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL SEND TO
EACH MEMBER OF THE MARYLAND GENERAL ASSEMBLY A LIST OF INDIVIDUALS IN
EACH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT TO WHOM COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRANSFER
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED.
18-2406.
THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL PUBLICIZE THE AVAILABILITY OF COMMUNITY
COLLEGE TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIPS UNDER THIS SUBTITLE.
18-2407.
FUNDS FOR THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
ESTABLISHED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE SHALL BE AS PROVIDED IN THE ANNUAL
BUDGET OF THE ADMINISTRATION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000.

CHAPTER 607
(House Bill 478)
AN ACT concerning
Upland Wildlife Habitat Fund
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Department of Natural Resources to use certain
funds for the purpose of planting food or cover for upland game birds and
mammals and wetland game birds; authorizing the Department to enter into
contracts with farmers to reimburse farmers for certain planting to provide food
or cover for upland game birds and mammals and wetland game birds; creating
an Upland Wildlife Habitat Fund as a special, nonlapsing fund in the
Department; providing for funding of the Fund through voluntary donation;
requiring the Secretary of the Department to administer the Fund; limiting how
the Fund may be used; requiring the Secretary to use the Fund for specified
purposes; authorizing the Secretary to prioritize certain duties for certain
purposes; providing that designated persons who sell hunting licenses and
collect donations to the Fund may retain as compensation a certain percentage
of each donation received; and generally relating to hunting licenses and the
Upland Wildlife Habitat Fund.
BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
