[(e) (D) Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit the removal of
the remains of any human body, or of any monument, gravestone, or other marker
ASSOCIATED FUNERARY OBJECT from an abandoned cemetery, provided that the
prior consent in writing of the State's Attorney of the county or of Baltimore City shall
have been secured and provided further that such remains, monuments, gravestone,
or other marker is OR ASSOCIATED FUNERARY OBJECTS ARE placed in an accessible
place in a permanent cemetery.]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000.

AN ACT concerning
Crimes - Impersonating a Federal Police Officer
FOR the purpose of expanding a prohibition against impersonating a police officer to
make it applicable to impersonating a federal police officer; defining a certain
term; and generally relating to impersonation of a police officer.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments
440.
(A) IN THIS SECTION, "POLICE FORCE OF THE UNITED STATES" INCLUDES
MEANS:
(1) THE UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE UNIFORMED DIVISION;
(2) THE UNITED STATES PARK POLICE;
(3) THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION;
(4) THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION; AND OR
