SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Education
23-402.
(E) IN GARRETT COUNTY, THE PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM OPERATED BY THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES SHALL BE KNOWN AS THE RUTH ENLOW LIBRARY OF GARRETT
COUNTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000.

AN ACT concerning
Libraries - Funding - Regional Resource Centers
FOR the purpose of altering to certain amounts in certain fiscal years the minimum
allocations per each resident of the area served that each participating regional
resource center shall receive for operating and capital expenses; and generally
relating to funding for the regional resource centers.
