Ch. 545 2000 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(1) of this section, including a comprehensive strategy for, and a cost estimate of, the
proposal, to the Governor and, subject to § 2-1246 of the State Government Article, to
the General Assembly. SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take

CHAPTER 545
(Senate Bill 627) AN ACT concerning Caroline County - Alcoholic Beverages - Possession or Consumption FOR the purpose of adding Caroline County to those counties that may regulate the
possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages on public property or
highways; making certain stylistic changes; and generally relating to the
regulation of alcoholic beverages in Caroline County. BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Annotated Code of Maryland (1998 Replacement Volume and 1999 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages 19-101. (a) A person may not: (1) Be intoxicated and endanger the safety of another person or property; or (2) Be intoxicated or drink any alcoholic beverage in a public place and
cause a public disturbance.
