DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE
MA01 OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY (A) Adult Day Care Facilities. Provide grants to acquire, design,
construct, renovate, and equip adult day care facilities. The
funds appropriated for this purpose shall be administered in
accordance with Sections 24-701 through 24-707 of the Health - General Article (Statewide), provided that no funds may be
expended on the Talbot County Adult Day Care Project until the
department submits a report to the budget committees that
demonstrates that the individuals and families who will be
served by the adult day care center are supportive of sharing
space in a new facility with an addictions program. The budget
committees shall have 45 days to review and comment upon the
report
................................................................................................ (B) Community Mental Health Facilities. Provide grants to acquire,
design, construct, renovate, and equip community mental
health, addiction, and developmental disabilities facilities, The
funds appropriated for this purpose shall be administered in
accordance with Sections 24-601 through 24-607 of the Health - General Article (Statewide), provided that no funds may be
expended on the Talbot County Addictions Program Project until
the department submits a report to the budget committees that
demonstrates that the individuals and families who will be
served by the adult day care center are supportive of sharing
space in a new facility with an addictions program. The budget
