sectarian religious worship or instruction, or in connection with any program or
department of divinity for any religious denomination. Upon the request of the Board
of Public Works, the grantee shall submit evidence satisfactory to the Board that none
of the proceeds of the loan or any matching funds have been or are being used for a
purpose prohibited by this Act.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2000.

(House Bill 327)
AN ACT concerning
Department of Agriculture - Nutrient Management
FOR the purpose of altering the name and purpose of the Department of Agriculture's
cost-share poultry matching service to include all livestock manure;
establishing a cost-share rate for livestock manure; altering the definition of
livestock for those agricultural operations required to have a nutrient
management plan; eliminating a certain cap on the amount of available State
cost-share funds; eliminating certain requirements of immediate
implementation of nutrient management plans for agricultural operations that
use State cost-share funds for the preparation of nutrient management plans;
expanding altering the application of certain requirements for the application of
commercial fertilizer to include all certain nonagricultural land; repealing the
requirement that the Department adopt certain regulations providing for
religious exemptions; and authorizing the Department to adopt certain
regulations for certain research and educational exemptions to the nutrient
management law.
