Subtitle 2. State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, ALCOHOL AND
DRUG COUNSELORS, CLINICAL MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS, AND CLINICAL
PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS AND THERAPISTS.

There is a State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, ALCOHOL AND
DRUG COUNSELORS, CLINICAL MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS, AND CLINICAL
PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS AND THERAPISTS.
17-206.
(a) There is a State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, ALCOHOL
AND DRUG COUNSELORS, CLINICAL MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS, AND
CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS AND
THERAPISTS Fund.
(c) (1) The Board shall pay all [funds] FEES collected under this title to the
Comptroller of the State.
(2) The Comptroller shall distribute the fees to the [State Board of
Examiners of Professional Counselors] Fund.

(b) The professional disclosure statement shall contain:
(5) At the bottom of the first page of the disclosure statement, the words,
"This information is required by the Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors,
ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNSELORS, CLINICAL MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS,
AND CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS AND
THERAPISTS which regulates all certified and licensed counselors and therapists";
and

This title may be cited as the "Maryland Professional Counselors, ALCOHOL AND
DRUG COUNSELORS, CLINICAL MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS, AND CLINICAL
PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS AND THERAPISTS Act".
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000.
