SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions
1-109.
(A) IN THIS SECTION. "LOCAL GOVERNMENT" MEANS:
(1) A COUNTY;
(2) A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION;
(3) A SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT; OR
(4) A REGIONAL GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY CREATED BY STATE LAW THAT
PROVIDES SERVICES IN MORE THAN ONE COUNTY.
