Ch. 327
(II) THE CHILD: 1. ENTERS THE INSTITUTION BETWEEN THE AGES OF 16 AND 21 YEARS; AND 2. MEETS THE CONDITIONS OF SUBSECTION (D) OF THIS SECTION. (2) AN INSTITUTION SHALL ADMIT THE CHILD TO ANY SCHEDULED
COURSE AND WAIVE THE TUITION INVOLVED FOR THE LESSER OF; (I) THE PERIOD OF TIME THAT IT TAKES THE CHILD TO COMPLETE
THE COURSES NEEDED TO GRADUATE FROM THE INSTITUTION; OR (II) 4 YEARS FROM THE DATE THAT THE CHILD IS FIRST ADMITTED
TO THE INSTITUTION. (D) A CHILD OR SPOUSE ADMITTED UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL MEET THE
ACADEMIC STANDARDS OF THE INSTITUTION; (1) BEFORE ENTERING THE INSTITUTION; AND (2) TO RETAIN THE WAIVER GRANTED UNDER THIS SECTION. (E) (1) AT THE TERMINATION OF EACH SEMESTER, THE INSTITUTION SHALL
FURNISH TO THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE INSTITUTION A STATEMENT OF THE
NUMBER OF STUDENTS PARTICIPATING UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION. (2) THE GOVERNING BOARD SHALL REPORT THE INFORMATION
COLLECTED UNDER PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION TO THE BUDGET
COMMITTEES OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY BY DECEMBER 31 OF EACH YEAR. 14-108. (A) (1) IN THIS SECTION THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS
INDICATED. (2) (I) "AMBULANCE OR RESCUE SQUAD" MEANS A STATE OR LOCAL
AMBULANCE OR RESCUE SQUAD. (II) "AMBULANCE OR RESCUE SQUAD" DOES NOT INCLUDE A
FOR PROFIT PROVIDER OF AMBULANCE OR RESCUE SQUAD SERVICES. (3) "CORRECTIONAL OFFICER" HAS THE MEANING STATED IN ARTICLE
41, § 4-301(B)(7) OF THE CODE. (4) (I) "FEE" MEANS A MANDATORY FEE OTHER THAN TUITION THAT: 1. IS CHARGED TO A STUDENT BY MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY; AND 2. MUST BE PAID BY THE STUDENT FOR THE STUDENT TO
REMAIN ENROLLED AT MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY. (II) "FEE" INCLUDES:
