2000 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(2) Is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State
Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget. (h) Staff support for the Commission shall be provided by the Department. (i) On OR BEFORE September 30, 2000, the Commission shall submit a report
on the results of its investigation and study, together with any resulting policy
recommendations, to the Governor and, subject to § 2-1246 of the State Government
Article, to the General Assembly. (J) ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30, 2001, THE COMMISSION SHALL SUBMIT A
SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT UPDATING THE RESULTS OF ITS INVESTIGATION AND
STUDY, TOGETHER WITH ANY RESULTING POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS, TO THE
GOVERNOR AND, SUBJECT TO § 2-1246 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY Chapter 464 of the Acts of 1998 SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act shall
remain effective for a period of [2] 3 years and, at the end of September 30, [2000]
2001, with no further action required by the General Assembly, Section 2 of this Act
shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect. Chapter 465 of the Acts of 1998 SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act shall
remain effective for a period of [2] 3 years and, at the end of September 30, [2000] 2001, with no further action required by the General Assembly, Section 2 of this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2000. Approved May 11, 2000.

(Senate Bill 616) AN ACT concerning Baltimore City - Civilian Review Board - Law Enforcement Units FOR the purpose of expanding the authority of the Baltimore City Civilian Review
Board to include certain law enforcement units in Baltimore City; defining
certain terms; altering a definition; repealing a certain termination provision;
and generally relating to the Baltimore City Civilian Review Board. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Chapter 196 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1999
