[Office] DEPARTMENT shall include any comments of the Commission when it
presents the report to the General Assembly.
5-812.
There is a Patuxent River Commission in the [Office] DEPARTMENT.
5-814.
(a) The Commission consists of the following 34 voting members appointed by
the Governor:
(7) as ex officio members:
(i) the Secretary of Agriculture or a designee;
(ii) the Secretary of the Environment or a designee;
(iii) the Secretary of Natural Resources or a designee;
(iv) the [Director] SECRETARY of the [Office] DEPARTMENT of
Planning or a designee;
(v) the Secretary of Transportation or a designee; and
(vi) the Chief of the Planning Division, U. S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Baltimore District or a designee.
Article 20 - Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland
2- 101.
The membership of the Council consists of:
(f) One nonvoting member appointed by the Maryland Department of
Business and Economic Development and the Maryland [Office] DEPARTMENT of
Planning.
3- 102.
(a) Before the plan, or any part, is adopted, it shall be submitted to the
[Office] DEPARTMENT of Planning and to the local planning commission, and
governing body of each governmental subdivision Within the region, not less than 60
days prior to a public hearing.
(c) The [Office] DEPARTMENT of Planning may make recommendations to
the Council, on or before the date of the hearing, for its modification where necessary
to achieve conformity with State plans and policies. Each local planning commission
and governing body of each governmental subdivision within the region may make
recommendations to the Council with respect to the effect of the plan within its
governmental subdivision on or before the date of the hearing.
