Department of Education, Aid to
Education budget to pay for services
provided by this program. Authorization
is hereby granted to use these receipts as
special funds for operating expenses in
this program.
MARYLAND HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION
Subject to the approval of the Maryland
Higher Education Commission. The
Secretary of Higher Education shall
establish a pay plan for all professional
management, and special appointment
positions of the Commission and shall
submit the plan to the Department of
Budget and Management by July 1, 2000,
for implementation. The pay plan
established by the Secretary shall be
based on the higher education labor
market and shall include a performance
accountability component.
