DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Provided that the Department of Human Resources will be restricted to 503 contractual full-time equivalent positions
at any one time consistent with existing
funds in fiscal 2001. The department shall
provide the budget committees with a
quarterly report, for review on the number
and purpose of each contractual position
above the maximum including the source
of funds. The level of 503 contractual
full-time equivalents may be exceeded only if the Department of Human Resources notifies the budget committees
of the need for additional contractual
personnel and the committees have 45
days to review and comment upon the
request. The level of 503 contractual full-time equivalent positions is exclusive of those
established for the Baltimore City L.J.
Consent Decree and contractual positions
fully reimbursed from non-State funding
(federal, local, foundation, endowment,
etc.). The Department of Human Resources shall
provide the committees a report for their
review on these excluded positions on a
quarterly basis.
