Maryland Teachers and State Employees
Supplemental Retirement Plans
distribute not less than $400,000 from its
special fund account to its outside
administrator for distribution to all
individuals who, as of January 1, 2000,
were members of one of the State's
supplemental retirement plans as defined
under Title 35 of the State Personnel and
Pensions Article, and that this
distribution be based as a percentage of
the assets that each eligible individual
had on that date, and further provided
that the agency report no later than
October 1, 2000, to the budget
committees, the Joint Committee on
Pensions, and the Department of
Legislative Services on the status of the
