(2) THE DIRECTOR, STAFF, AND OTHER EMPLOYEES OF THE CENTER
SHALL BE EMPLOYEES OF THE STATE.

(D) CONTRACTS.

SUBJECT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPROVED BY THE SECRETARY, A
COUNTY, THE COUNTIES IN A REGION, OR THE STATE MAY PROVIDE FOR THE
OPERATION OF A CENTER BY CONTRACT WITH A NONPUBLIC PERSON.

§ 710A(a).

In subsection (b)(1) of this section, the reference to counties "in a region" is
added for clarity and consistency within this subtitle.

11-312. COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD.

(A) IN GENERAL

A CENTER SHALL HAVE A COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD.

(B) MEMBERS.

THE COUNTY OPERATING THE' CENTER SHALL DETERMINE THE ADVISORY
FUNCTION, COMPOSITION, AND APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY
ADVISORY BOARD.

(C) DIRECTOR TO CONSULT WITH COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD.

THE DIRECTOR OF THE CENTER SHALL CONSULT WITH AND GENERALLY
INFORM THE COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD PERIODICALLY CONCERNING INMATES
IN THE CENTER
