In subsection (d) of this section, the reference to a "resolution or law" is
substituted for the former reference to a "proper legislative act" for
consistency with subsections (b) and (c) of this section.

Also in subsection (d) of this section, the former reference to "the
responsibility of the Chief of Police of Baltimore County" is deleted as

the Bureau of Correction of Baltimore County administers and operates
the Baltimore County Jail.

Defined terms: "County" § 1-101
"Inmate" § 1-101

"Local correctional facility" § 1-101
"Managing official" § 1-101

11-202. REMOVAL FROM COURT ON CONVICTION.

IMPRISONMENT IN THE DIVISION OF CORRECTION, THE SHERIFF OF THE COUNTY IN

A SHERIFF WHO DOES NOT COMPLY WITH SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 87, § 26.

In subsection (a) of this section, the reference to an individual who is
sentenced to "imprisonment" is substituted for the former reference to an
individual who is sentenced to "undergo a confinement" for consistency

Also in subsection (a) of this section, the reference to an inmate who is
