"BOARD" MEANS THE SUNDRY CLAIMS BOARD.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to avoid repetition of
the full title of the "Sundry Claims Board".

(C) PERMANENT PARTIAL DISABILITY.

"PERMANENT PARTIAL DISABILITY' HAS THE SAME MEANING GIVEN UNDER
TITLE 9, SUBTITLE 6, PART IV OF THE LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT ARTICLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived without
substantive change from the second sentence of former Art. 41, § 4-701(a)
as it defined "permanent partial disability".

In this subsection, the reference to "Title 9, Subtitle 6, Part IV of the
Labor and Employment Article is substituted for the former reference to
"Title 9" of the Labor and Employment Article for accuracy. The provisions
of Title 9, Subtitle 6, Part IV of the Labor and Employment Article set forth
rules governing compensation for employees who are permanently
partially disabled due to an accidental personal injury or an occupational
disease.

(D) PERMANENT TOTAL DISABILITY.

"PERMANENT TOTAL DISABILITY" HAS THE SAME MEANING GIVEN UNDER
TITLE 9, SUBTITLE 6, PART V OF THE LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT ARTICLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived without
substantive change from the second sentence of former Art. 41, § 4-701(a)
as it defined "permanent total disability".

In this subsection, the reference to "Title 9, Subtitle 6, Part V" of the Labor
and Employment Article is substituted for the former reference to "Title 9"
of the Labor and Employment Article for accuracy. The provisions of Title
9, Subtitle 6, Part V of the Labor and Employment Article set forth rules
governing compensation for employees who are permanently totally
disabled due to an accidental personal injury or an occupational disease.

10-302. ESTABLISHED.

THERE IS A SUNDRY CLAIMS BOARD IN THE DEPARTMENT,

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from the third sentence and, as it established the Board, the first
sentence of former Art. 41, § 4-701(a). It is restated in the standard
language used to create a unit of State government.
