Charter Amendment - Personnel - Fees
FOR the purpose of amending the Municipal Charter of Highland Beach to provide
that personnel of the town may be paid salary or fees; and to provide that the town
may hire independent contractors; and generally relating to personnel.

Arundel County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of
Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 1998 Supplement), repealed and
reenacted, with amendments.

Charter Amendment - Budget
FOR the purpose of amending the Municipal Charter of Highland Beach to provide
that the Mayor shall submit a budget in the form of an ordinance on or before May 30
of each year; to provide that the Board shall adopt the budget ordinance no earlier
than six days after it is introduced and no later than June 30 of each fiscal year; to
provide that the budget ordinance shall be posted on the Town bulletin board;
clarifying language; and generally relating to the adoption of a budget.
