ARTICLE XVI, ENTITLED "POLICE" BY AMENDING SECTION 198 ENTITLED
"DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY OR CHIEF OF POLICE", AS THE SAME WAS
ADOPTED ON MARCH 7, 1997.

[Section 198 of the Charter of the City of Frederick, Frederick County, as found
in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 1998 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
