(IV) A SPECIAL MULTIPLE EVENT LICENSEE SHALL NOTIFY THE
BOARD IN WRITING AT LEAST 7 DAYS BEFORE AN EVENT; AND

(V) THE BOARD SHALL PUBLISH A NOTICE FOR APPLICATION FOR A
SPECIAL MULTIPLE EVENT LICENSE ONE TIME AT LEAST 7 DAYS BEFORE THE
HEARING ON THE LICENSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1999.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City - Alcoholic Beverages Appeals - Remand

FOR the purpose of adding Baltimore City to the list of jurisdictions in which a circuit
court may remand certain licensing proceedings to the local licensing board; and
generally relating to alcoholic beverages licensing proceedings in Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

16-101.

(a) The decision of a local licensing board, in approving, suspending, revoking
and restricting, or refusing to approve, suspend, revoke or restrict any license, or
licensee, shall be subject to appeal in the manner provided in this section.
