(2) (I) A LICENSEE SHALL BE NOTIFIED BY REGISTERED MAIL OF A
DECLARATION BY THE SHERIFF OF THE LICENSEE'S FORFEITURE OF ITS RIGHT TO
THE ISSUANCE OF ANOTHER LICENSE OR A SUSPENSION OF A LICENSE UNDER
SUBSECTION (D) OF THIS SECTION.

(II) THE LICENSEE SHALL HAVE 30 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THE
NOTICE TO APPEAL THE DECISION IN WRITING TO THE SHERIFF.

(III) NOTHING' CONTAINED IN THIS SUBSECTION MAY BE
CONSTRUED AS LIMITING THE RIGHT OF ANY PARTY TO SEEK JUDICIAL REVIEW OF
THE DECISION TO DENY THE ISSUANCE OF, OR SUSPEND, ANY LICENSE DESCRIBED
IN THIS SECTION.

256A.

(A) THE SHERIFF OF WICOMICO COUNTY SHALL ESTABLISH A GAMING
ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

(B) THE GAMING ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL:

(1) MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE SHERIFF CONCERNING THE
STANDARDS FOR REPORTING REQUIREMENTS TO BE MET BY LICENSEES;

(2) EXAMINE THE REPORTS AND AUDITS DESCRIBED UNDER § 256(D) OF
THIS SUBHEADING; AND

(3) MAKE ANY OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS TO ASSIST THE SHERIFF IN
THE ADMINISTRATION OF LICENSING AND OTHER DUTIES OF THE SHERIFF UNDER §
256 OF THIS SUBHEADING.

(C) THE MEMBERS OF THE GAMING ADVISORY COMMITTEE:

(1) SHALL SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE SHERIFF; AND

(2) MAY NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1999.
