CHAPTER 612
(House Bill 203)

AN ACT concerning

Harford County - Hotel Rental Tax - Repeal

FOR the purpose of repealing certain authority for Harford County to impose a hotel
rental tax; repealing a requirement that the Harford County Tourism Council
submit its proposed annual budget to the Harford County Executive and
Harford County Council for review and comment; repealing certain authority for
the Harford County Executive and Harford County Council to audit the Harford
County Tourism Council; and generally relating to the repeal of certain
authority for Harford County to impose a hotel rental tax.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions
Section 9-301(b), 9-303(b), 9-304(b), 9-310(a), 9-318(a) and 9-325
Annotated Code of Maryland

BY repealing

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

9-301.

(b) "Authorized county" means:
