1-101.

(e) "Partnership" includes a partnership registered as. a limited liability
partnership authorized by Title 9 or Title 9A of the Corporations and Associations
Article.

Occupations and Professions Article.

Occurred: Ch. 743, Acts of 1998. Correction by the publisher of the
Annotated Code in the 1998 Supplement of the Business Occupations and
Professions Article is validated by this Act.

4-306.

(b) The Board may grant a waiver under this section only if:

(1) the applicant pays the application fee set by the Board under § 4-206
and any applicable examination fee required under § 4-303 of this subtitle for any
examination requirement that is not waived by the Board;

(2) the applicant provides adequate evidence that the applicant:

(i) meets the qualifications otherwise required by this subtitle; and

(ii) became licensed in the other state after passing, in that or any
other state, an examination that is similar to the examination for which the applicant
is seeking the waiver;

(3) the applicant practiced barbering in the other state as a master
barber or barber during the 2 years immediately before applying in this State;

(4) the applicant provides:

(i) a notarized statement from a previous employer certifying that
the applicant has the experience required under item (3) of this subsection; or

(ii) if the applicant was self-employed, other proof that is
acceptable to the Board;

(5) the applicant submits a letter from the licensing board of the other
state certifying that the applicant is in good standing with the board of the other
state; AND
