CHAPTER 563 AN ACT concerning Public Schools - Confidentiality of Student Records - Exception for Community Colleges FOR the purpose of authorizing a custodian to permit inspection of the home address BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, (1995 Replacement Volume and 1998 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - State Government 10-616. (k) (1) Subject to paragraphs (2) and (3) of this subsection, a custodian shall (2) A custodian shall permit inspection by: (i) the person in interest; or (ii) an elected or appointed official who supervises the student. (3) A custodian may permit inspection of the home address or home (i) an organization of parents, teachers, students, or former (ii) an organization or force of the military; [or] (iii) a person engaged by a school or board of education to confirm a (IV) A REPRESENTATIVE OF A COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN THE STATE. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect |
