procurement pertaining to design, construction, or dredging related to a container
facility of at least 100 acres at Dundalk Marine Terminal.

(b) Notwithstanding the termination provision under Section 4 of this Act, the
exception from Division II of the State Finance and Procurement Article under
subsection (a) of this section, shall remain in effect for the term of any contract
awarded while the exception is in effect.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1999.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1999. Subject to the provisions of Section 2(b) of this Act, it shall
remain effective for a period of 2 years and, at the end of May 31, 2001, with no
further action required by the General Assembly, Section 2 of this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning

Harford County - Bush River - Pound Nets and Fyke Nets

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person from setting a fyke net in the Bush River
within a certain distance of another fyke net or pound net with a certain
exception; authorizing an owner, a tenant, or a lessee of certain property to
maintain a single fyke net within a certain distanced of a certain other fyke net
or pound net; and generally relating to pound nets and fyke nets in the Bush
River in Harford County.
