CHAPTER 462
(House Bill 826)

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Alcoholic Beverages - Pub-Brewery and

Micro-Brewery Licenses

PG 320-99

FOR the purpose of including Prince George's County among those jurisdictions in
which pub-brewery beer licenses may be issued by the Office of the Comptroller;
altering a certain limitation on the persons who may obtain a Class 7
micro-brewery license in Prince George's County;
and generally relating to
alcoholic beverages in Prince George's County

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 2-207(a) and (g)
Annotated Code of Maryland

(1998 Replacement Volume and 1998 Supplement)

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 2-207(b) through (f)
Annotated Code of Maryland

(1998 Replacement Volume and 1998 Supplement)

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments.

Section 2

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

2-207.

(a) A Class 6 pub-brewery license shall be issued:

(1) By the State Comptroller;

(2) Only to a holder of a Class B beer, wine and liquor (on-sale) license
that is issued for use on the premises of a restaurant located in the jurisdictions
permitted by this subsection;

(3) Throughout the State, but not in the following subdivisions:
(i) Allegany County;
