SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Section(s) 4-501(c), (d), (e),
(f), (g), (h), (j), (j), (k), and (1), respectively, of Article - Family Law of the Annotated
Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 4-501(d), (e), (f), (g), (h), (i), (j), (k),
(1), and (m), respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

Article - Family Law

1-101.

(a) In this article the following words have the meanings indicated.

(d) "Person" means an individual, receiver, trustee, guardian, personal
representative, fiduciary, or representative of any kind and any partnership, firm,
association, corporation, or other entity.
