WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION AND EXECUTION OF THIS SUBTITLE AND ANY
COMPACT ENTERED INTO PURSUANT TO THIS SUBTITLE SHALL INCLUDE IN ANY
STATE PLAN MADE PURSUANT TO THE ADOPTION ASSISTANCE AND CHILD WELFARE
ACT OF 1980 (PL. 96-272), TITLES IV-(E) AND XIX OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT, AND
ANY OTHER APPLICABLE FEDERAL LAWS, THE PROVISION OF ADOPTION ASSISTANCE
AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE FOR WHICH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PAYS SOME OR
ALL OF THE COST.

(B) THE DEPARTMENTS SHALL APPLY FOR AND ADMINISTER ALL RELEVANT
FEDERAL AID IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1999.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Agricultural Fair Board - Grants

FOR the purpose of altering the amount of the annual grant that the Comptroller
pays from the horse racing Special Fund to the Maryland Agricultural Fair
Board to promote State and county agricultural fairs and exhibits; and generally
relating to the horse racing Special Fund.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

11-403.

(a) The Comptroller shall pay from the Special Fund an annual grant of:

(1) [$600,000] $825,000 to the Maryland Agricultural Fair Board to
promote State and county agricultural fairs and exhibits;

(2) $100,000 to Prince George's County to replace money formerly
received from the admissions and amusement tax;
