(i) Unsealed; and

(ii) Delivered within 15 days to:

1. The person from whom the property was taken; or

2. If that person is not present on the premises at the time of
delivery, the person apparently in charge of the premises from which the property
was taken.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 1999.

AN ACT concerning

Foresters - Scope of Practice and Licensure

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of Foresters to allow licensees to be placed
in a certain status of licensure; authorizing the Board to impose a certain fees
fee; defining a certain term; and generally relating to the scope of practice and
licensure of foresters.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Business Occupations and Professions

7-101.

(a) In this title the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b) "Board" means the State Board of Foresters.

(C) (1) "FORESTRY" MEANS THE APPLICATION, FOR COMPENSATION, OF
SCIENTIFIC TECHNIQUES TO THE PLANTING, CONSERVATION, PROTECTION, AND
MANAGEMENT OF TREES AND RELATED RESOURCES FOR THEIR CONTINUING USE,
WHETHER FOUND IN LARGE NUMBERS AND AREAS COMMONLY KNOWN AS FORESTS,
WOODLANDS, AND WOODLOTS OR IN SMALL GROUPINGS AND INDIVIDUAL TREES IN
SUBURBAN AND URBAN SETTINGS.
