Provide grants to acquire, design, construct, renovate, and
equip facilities for homeless individuals and families. These
funds shall be administered in accordance with the Code of
Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 05.05.09 (Statewide)...............

UA04 WATER MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATION

(Statewide)

(A) Chesapeake Bay Water Quality Project Funds. Provide funds to
be credited to the Water Pollution Control Fund to be used for
projects to improve the water quality of the Chesapeake Bay
and other waters of the State. These funds shall be
administered for the purposes listed below in accordance with
Sections 9-345 through 9-351 of the Environment Article:

(1) To provide not more than $12,216,000 in grants for projects
to remove nutrients at publicly-owned sewage treatment
works;

(2) To provide not more than $2,608,000 in grants to provide
assistance to grant and loan recipients to meet the local
share of construction costs;

(3) To provide not more than $1,000,000 in grants for water
quality clean-up activities in small creeks and estuaries;
and

(4) To provide not more than $1,245,000 in grants for nonpoint
source stormwater pollution control......................................

(B) Water Supply Assistance Funds. Provide funds for assistance to
State and local government entities to acquire, design,
construct, rehabilitate, equip, and improve water supply
facilities. These funds shall be administered in accordance with
Sections 9-420 through 9-426 of the Environment Article and
in accordance with the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR)
26.03.09............................................................................................

UA05 TECHNICAL AND REGULATORY SERVICES ADMINISTRATION

(A) Comprehensive Flood Management Grant Program. Provide
funds to local governments for projects which reduce the risk of
loss of life and property from flooding. Grant funds may be used
to acquire flood-prone properties for demolition or relocation,
install flood warning systems, and construct flood control
projects, including engineering studies required to support the
design of these projects (Statewide)..............................................
